Hull Planking.

I've started planking the hull with 9mm ply. I started off with the transom then added the first of the bottom. Which is 1 full sheet cut to the shap of the hull. To get the hull shape I lay the sheet on top popped a couple of screw in at the stern to hold it still then drilled pilot holes every 125mm and used a measuring stick to get the distance from the edge of the sheet to the stringer underneath. Once happy the hole where in the right place I joined the holes with pen line the cut with circular saw. I cut it oversize then cut back with the saw blade angled to form a bevel. Lots of fetling with an electric plane and it was ready for glueing down. A full lenght sheet reaches from the stern to the Oak Keel Beam (5). I epoxyed the pieces and the frames and stringers, then left the epoxy to partialy dry the coated the sheets again then started using thickend epoxy and ss screws to fasten it down.

I used the same system for the side planks. At this piont I got 2 pieces on both sides and the bottom.
